For several years early on, I had the rare experience of working for an agency owner who lived that belief fully. He knew his clients. He listened. Their stories mattered. Their needs came before commission. He did life with his clients — their businesses, their families, their seasons of change. The agency thrived because our customers came first. That way of doing business shaped me.
When he passed in 2021, and I left for a promotion the following year, it was evident just how uncommon that approach had become. Too often, insurance felt rushed, transactional, and driven by numbers instead of people. That never sat right with me.
Keeton Benefits Agency exists so I can serve clients the way I believe insurance should be done: independently, thoughtfully, and with integrity.
